Life and Social Skills
At Precious Flower Healthcare, our Life and Social Skills programs are designed to support personal growth, independence, and connection. We create a safe, supportive space where individuals can learn essential everyday skills, build confidence, and form meaningful relationships, all at their own pace and ability level.

Building Independence Through Daily Living
Participants engage in hands-on learning that covers essential life tasks like meal preparation, personal hygiene, and money handling. These skills are taught step-by-step with staff support, helping individuals gain confidence in managing their routines and making empowered choices.
Practicing Social Communication
Through guided group activities, role-playing, and conversation practice, participants develop communication skills such as turn-taking, listening, asking questions, and expressing feelings. These sessions help build friendships and reduce social anxiety in real-world situations.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
Participants learn how to identify challenges, think through choices, and make informed decisions. Skills that are critical for independence and confidence. Activities may include games, real-life scenarios, and discussions adapted to different ability levels.
Community Skills in Action
Outings to local stores, parks, or events provide chances to apply life and social skills in everyday settings. From reading signs to making purchases or navigating public spaces, participants gain practical experience that reinforces classroom learning.
